Little Nutbrown Hare wants Big Nutbrown Hare to know that he loves him and vice versa. They stretch their hands wide, stretch their hands high, tumbling upside down and reaching up a tree trunk with the feet, hopping, etc. Then, Little Nutbrown goes to sleep. The simple message of the story is that love is not easy to measure.
